New drug for inflammation found, claims IUCB
Researchers at the Inter University Centre for Bioscience (IUCB) of Kannur University, claimed to have discovered a new drug lead for managing inflammation in arthritis, certain cancers and ophthalmic disorders.
Talking to reporters at a press conference here today, Dr M Haridas, Honorary Director, IUCB said their research has validated the fermentation process used in the production of the herbal extracts arishtas or asavas.
