Situated within the Resort complex, the Ayurvedic Retreat, is designed to stimulate its guests into thinking about, experimenting with and understanding the fundamental philosophical approach to ayurveda.
The Ayurvedic Retreat has individual treatment pavilions designed to take guests on a journey through the physical, nutritional and emotional benefits of the ayurvedic system.
Besides introducing the myriad possibilities ayurveda offers, guests will also learn to integrate some of the processes into their daily lives. The Resort's ayurvedic Doctor is available to advise on healthier lifestyle options and to design dosha-specific meal plans in cooperation with the Resort’s ayurvedic chef, for guests who wish to experience this ancient science throughout the duration of their stay.
Another specialty is the panchakarma procedure, a series of five therapies that comprises ayurveda’s primary purification and detoxification treatment. Dr. Aju G. George BAMS specialises in rejuvenative Ayurvedic Therapy, Kayakalpa Therapy and special treatments and has successfully practiced these methods for over a decade as a clinical practitioner.
