GOD MADE EVERY ONE EQUAL INCLUDING HANDICAPPED But the unfortunate persons with mental retardation cannot work and earn a living as ordinary man. So commitment for them is must for thier betterment. Those who love them and those contribute for their welfare are really paying tribute to the God himself as the serene innocent charming mentally retarded person is God's own children. We care God's own children. Your support is tribute to god. Any contribution may be paid in the name of the society - Warm welcome to visit this institution. ORGANISATION FOR REHABILITATION OF MENTALLY RETARDED
for
Mentally Retarded is an Institution for Special Education of mentally
retarded with Residential Care, Vocational Training and Life Long Care.
Two third of the present 60 inmates are very poor and incapable of
meeting any expenses towards special education and residential care. The
institution provides development oriented scientific Special Education,
Physical Training, Vocational Training & Residential care to the
inmates. Average expenditure
towards
maintenance of mentally retarded child is estimated to be Rs. 1000 per
month inclusive of food shelter medical care clothing and education.
Asadeepam the school cum residential centre is functioning in a rented
building inside the medicinal plants cultivation and research centre,
near Santhigiri Health Complex N.A.D. Road, Kalamasserry, Kerala State,
South India. The present strength is 60 inmates and 13 staff. The method
followed is NIMH syllabus and all the teachers are professionally
trained. The school is recognised by govt. Kerala and the organisation approved Govt. of India. We are also thinking of feasibility of life Long Care for the Mentally Retarded above the age of 18 the institution is also providing guidance and counciling for the parents.
WORKING THROUGH CHARITY
The regular day to day expenses of the institution is met with the
contribution, donations and other charities offered by various
individuals organisations and Govt. Certain individuals and family
offered feased or material donations on ceremonial and commemoration
days. Some well known clubs such as Rotary Cochin Junior Chamber etc..
celebrated festival days as a special offer at this institute. Some of
the well known citizens sponsor the expenditure of the childrens.
Without the assistants the school could not have continued we hope
continued support from all individuals for this noble cause.

proposed to construct a building for the school and hostel at an
